Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- To identify system failures through root cause failure analysis and the repair of such failures.
- To perform quality maintenance work
- Rectify all electrical, mechanical & hydraulic breakdowns
- Ensure legal compliance on all machines
- To participate and assure a high standard of work
- Quality work at all times
- After hours and standby duties
- Be part of the safety programme and good housekeeping
- Customer excellence to be driven by KPI,s
- Time keeping as per company rules and regulations
- Expected to assist in other areas/divisions in the company when needed in terms of “The Epiroc Way”
Competences, Skills and Experience:
- Technical background (as per division requirements)
- Trade – Qualified artisan
- Understanding of schematics as per our product lines
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Valid driver’s license
- Good product knowledge
- Interpersonal skills to work as part of the Workshop team
Educational Qualification:
-
Grade 12 with trade qualification with 5 years’ experience.
