Essential Job Duties:

  • Review and learn current data capture methods across all divisions and then begin to iterate and improve processes continuously by working with division heads to create a culture of continuous improvement. 
  • Work with product development to create and advance current research tools for improvements to process efficiency, data quality reporting, and forecasting of resource needs. 
  • Build forecasts for future market expansions and work with CEO to validate launch models and timing. 
  • Work with product development leaders to review client facing analytics views in the existing system to validate accuracy while also thinking through new reporting and output needed by industry participants. 
  • Cooperate and communicate with others to share best practices and implement new best practices within your offices.
  • Participate in the operating committee and be actively engaged in product planning, systems planning, staffing, hiring and financial planning for the company.
  • Thought Leadership: Expand the focus of our research efforts from being solely focused on data capture and maintenance to include statistical reporting to interpretation, analysis and forecasting. 
  • Will take an active role in working with research team leads to develop client-oriented interpretations and analysis of current and future data sets. 
  • Ensure Best-In-Class research services for the company 
  • Focus research efforts on overall company brand and client perception 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, economics, or a closely related field 
  • Minimum 5+ years professional management experience in real estate analysis, market 
  •  research or related field
  • Ability to identify trends in data sets 
  • Project and staff management experience 
  • Very strong analytical, writing, and communication skills 
  • Very strong people and presentation skills 
  • Extensive database and systems management experience 
  • Superior skills in Excel, Power BI, and/or Alteryx. 
  • Proficiency in other MS Office programs
  • Must be self-directed, with ability to plan daily, weekly tasks with minimal supervision
  • Performs routine audits to validate commercial property information and ensure the highest 
  •  level of data quality
  • Mentor, hire and develop incoming research leaders
  • Continuous process & strategy improvement
