Wastewater Engineer – Cape Town (Ref CT0112) needed at JG AFRIKA

Duties and Responsibilities:

• JG Afrika is seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Engineer to join our Cape Town office.

Duties will include:

• Designing of wastewater infrastructure and conduct process assessments.
• Preparing contract documentation and managing contract administration.
• Providing Green Drop assistance.
• Traveling on short notice and work on-site as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a BSc / BEng / B Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer / Technologist (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng).
• Valid driver’s licence.

Experience:

• 10-15 years of post-graduation experience in wastewater infrastructure design, treatment plant process assessments, and contract administration.

Skills:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in the field.
• Strong communication skills.

Competencies:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil Designer/Civils 3D, and Microsoft Office (advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Projects).
