Managing Director South Africa needed at Diebold Nixdorf

Key Responsibilities:

• Full P&L ownership and strategic leadership
• Develop and execute strategic plans to meet sales targets
• Achieve business performance objectives, balancing short and long term targets.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and quality
• Manage and mentor department heads and staff
• Monitor financial performance, controlling budget and expenses
• Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
• Leverages relationships with senior-level customer decision-makers to upsell DN products and services into new and profitable areas.
• Monitoring and managing all sales activities within the country by leading the  commercial function to generate a robust sales pipeline
• Ensuring alignment of local management with organizational goals
• Represent the company in the press and during events / conferences

Required Qualifications:

• Business degree
• Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in the banking and payment industry
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
• Excellent financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and improve profitability.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of successful business growth.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, strategic planning, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of industry and country regulation
• Sales experience at C Level
