Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

  • In the specialist brand activation’s role, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of marketing strategies across multiple sport categories. You will collaborate with various teams to assist in bringing campaigns to life, increase product visibility, and engage with a diverse audience of athletes, sports enthusiasts, and fans. This role requires an organized and proactive individual who does not mind getting their hands dirty. Important to have a passion for sports, marketing, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Senior Brand Manager, Senior Sports Marketing Manager and relevant category managers to deliver on various tasks across SPSP, Running and Outdoor.

Campaign Support

  •  Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of brand campaigns across key sport categories.
  • Coordinate with agencies and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of campaign materials and assets.

Event Coordination

  •  Support the planning and execution of brand events, including product launches, sponsorship activations, and influencer collaborations.
  • Assist in logistical coordination, ensuring all brand experiences run smoothly and reflect adidas’ values.

Collaborative Support

  • Act as a point of contact for external partners, including athletes, influencers and creative agencies.

Market Research & Campaign analysis

  • Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies.
  •  Analyze campaign performance data, reporting on key metrics and insights to help         optimize future campaigns. 

Administrative Duties

  •  Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as managing project timelines, preparing presentations, managing of budgets, tracking and calling off of product.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with marketing principles, digital marketing strategies, and brand management.
  • Passion and understanding of local sports landscape, brand landscape and youth culture
  • Experience working with external agencies and partners.
  • Marketing budget management
  • Competent user of MS Office suite of products
  • Ability to contribute fresh ideas for campaigns and content that resonate with adidas’ diverse audience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively across teams and external partners.

KPI’s:

  • Market Share of category
  • Market Share (particularly in Sports categories)
  • Media and PR performance KPI’s
  • Social media sentiment

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in Marketing
  • Minimum of 3-5  years equivalent professional marketing experience
  • Thorough understanding of advertising agencies
  • Proven record of working with brand partners and ambassadors
  • Fluent in English
