Requirements

  • National Diploma and /or Degree in Business Administration, Office Management and /or related field.
  • 3 years experience as a Personal Assistant at management level and exposed to generic administrative work.
  • Must be computer literate: Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (e-mail).
  • Must have strong business communication skills.
  • Must have time management skills and be able to work under pressure.
  • Must have a good understanding of office etiquette.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills.
  • Project management and financial reporting skills

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage the calendar, meetings, and logistical arrangements of the General Manager: Savanna Research Unit
  • Assist with general support and logistical arrangements for the Savanna Research Unit.
  • Manage the flow of information within the Savanna Research Unit and in cooperation with other divisions.
  • Ensure proper liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops and events relating to the Savanna Research Unit function.
  • Ensure proper management of assets within the division.
  • Ensure divisional compliance with the records management system.
  • Compile professional reports, correspondence, business documents and minutes.
  • Ensure confidentiality all the time.
  • Coordinate the inter-departmental liaison and communications.
