Technical Internship – (Peak Quarry) needed at Afrimat

Minimum Qualification/Experience:

• National Senior Certificate with Mathematics is compulsory
• A tertiary qualification in Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Strong aptitude for mathematics and science
• Driver’s license and own transport is preferred but not essential
• Must reside in the Western Cape
• Strong interest in the technical aspects of construction and concrete production
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is advantageous
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
• Must be medically and physically fit

Duties and Responsibilities:​

• Assist the Technical Department in monitoring, developing, and optimising the technical performance of concrete products.
• Support quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and customer satisfaction
• Participate in research and development projects to enhance product offerings
• Aid in maintaining a safe working environment and comply with health and safety regulations
• Provide support to customers and develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the delivery of the most efficient and cost-effective testing services
