Purpose of Position:

  • Responsible for driving Ampath’s growth and expansion strategies by identifying new business opportunities and markets. Conduct thorough market research to uncover trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances to expand the Ampath’s reach and capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Post-graduate Degree in Business Management or a related field (Required)

Required Experience:

  • 5 or more years of proven experience in a business development role within the healthcare sector, Ability to prepare business proposals tailored to the needs of the client., Data-driven, analytical mindset, with the ability to examine data and optimise activities., Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships, Excellent relationship-building and networking skills to foster long-term partnerships, Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to present ideas clearly to stakeholders, Proven experience in creating demand and converting opportunities, Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape., Strong financial acumen to analyse financial data., Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams., Strong project management skills to coordinate various tasks and initiatives, ensuring that all aspects of business development efforts are on track.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the tender processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions., Build and maintain relationships with potential clients and partners, fostering long-term partnerships that can lead to new business., Collaborate closely with the Commercial Officer to ensure that the business development efforts align with Ampath’s commercial strategies., Develop a deep understanding of clients’ priorities and strategies and leverage this insight to generate demand., Identify new markets, clients, and business opportunities., Prepare business proposals tailored to clients’ specific needs.
