Excavator Operator 120t needed at Tharisa

Role Context

• Reports to the Load & Haul Foreman
• Ensure that the truck factor is achieved
• Any damages are reported and attend to urgently
• Reach daily production targets
• Executive daily approved plan
• Load to the required elevation using grade box
• Continuous feeding of reef to the crushers and waste to TSF
• Scale the highwall
• Do not load big rocks on the trucks
• Do not load un-blasted hard surface
• Assist load & haul supervisors to execute their work safely and cost-effectively
• Create and maintain and healthy relationship with other employees and all managers

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

• Grade 12/ NQF Level 4
• Relevant licence of operation for the Excavator Operator

Job specific experience:

• Code 10 driver license for multi-skilling purpose
• Must pass both medical and dover tests
• Minimum of 1 year as an excavator operator
• 1 year mining experience in open cast mining will be an advantage
