New Client Acquisition
- Identify and target potential clients in the capital markets sector.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to attract new business.
- Conduct market research to understand client needs and industry trends.

Client Growth and Retention
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.

Market and Product Expertise
- Maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and competitive landscape.
- Stay informed about industry developments and trends.
- A subject matter expert, providing insights and advice to clients and prospects.
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads and support sales campaigns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Own the client, by maintaining a strong sense of urgency and overall accountability.
- Coordinate projects, actively engaging with both the Iress and the clients delivery teams.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other sales team members to share knowledge, experience and best practices.
- Collaborate with product development and support teams to ensure client feedback is communicated and addressed.
What you will bring
Qualifications and Certifications
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in software sales (Financial markets experience preferred)
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of financial market data terminals, data feeds, and investor relations (beneficial)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- A Dealmaker with excellent commercial acumen.
- Enthusiastic, energetic and inquisitive with a strong desire to outperform.
- Experience with major financial market solution providers.
