 New Client Acquisition

  • Identify and target potential clients in the capital markets sector.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to attract new business.
  • Conduct market research to understand client needs and industry trends.

  • Negotiate contracts and close deals.

Client Growth and Retention

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Conduct regular reviews with clients to ensure their needs are being met and to identify any potential issues.

Market and Product Expertise

  • Maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and competitive landscape.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and trends.
  • A subject matter expert, providing insights and advice to clients and prospects.

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads and support sales campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Own the client, by maintaining a strong sense of urgency and overall accountability.
  • Coordinate projects, actively engaging with both the Iress and the clients delivery teams. 

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with other sales team members to share knowledge, experience and best practices.
  • Collaborate with product development and support teams to ensure client feedback is communicated and addressed.

What you will bring

Qualifications and Certifications 

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in software sales (Financial markets experience preferred)
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of financial market data terminals, data feeds, and investor relations (beneficial)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • A Dealmaker with excellent commercial acumen.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and inquisitive with a strong desire to outperform.
  • Experience with major financial market solution providers.
