Quality Controller needed at Woodlands Dairy

Job Description
Key Performance Areas:

• The successful candidate will conduct microbiological testing on raw materials, finished products, and environmental samples.
• Ensure accurate, timely results that meet set specifications.
• Assist with troubleshooting in production, investigating consumer complaints, support sensory analysis and providing feedback.
• Maintain Quality Management Systems and keep documentation up to date.
• Handle lab administration, data capturing, report compilation, sample dispatch to third-party labs, and manage stock and budgets.

Knowledge and Skills:

• The successful candidate will have a Matric certificate accompanied by a diploma/degree in Food Science or relevant similar science qualification and relevant science background and training.
• Preferred candidates must have 1-2 years of Microbiological Laboratory working experience in FMCG environment, should be able to produce accurate and neat work, have good organizational and communication skills and be reliable.
• The position will require overtime to be worked.
