Purpose of role

  • Our client looking for a highly organized and proactive Social Media Coordinator to manage their social media presence, and community engagement. This role will be responsible for posting and responding to all comments, managing interactions, and finding user-generated content for resharing. You will also manage Google reviews and liaise with marketing and IT for content-related queries.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Manage daily social media activities, including posting content, responding to comments, and engaging with followers across multiple platforms.
  • Monitor and manage all social media messages and interactions, ensuring timely responses.
  • Find and curate tagged posts and user-generated content for resharing on brand social media accounts.
  • Liaise with the marketing and IT teams as needed for content-related questions and assistance.
  • Respond to all Google reviews across various club locations, ensuring consistent brand communication.
  • Set up creative and ad campaigns for social media ads across all clubs, including requests for new creatives.
  • Given your experience, you might also handle the editing and optimizing of PPC accounts throughout the month to support ongoing offers and promotions.
  • Manage invoices and track expenses related to paid media and advertising campaigns.

Skills/Experience 

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands, including content scheduling, engagement, and community management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with online communities and manage customer feedback.
  • Experience in managing multiple social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) and using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
  • Basic SEO.
  • A keen eye for user-generated content and brand storytelling.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

Desirable

  • An interest in the health and fitness industry. 
  • Familiarity with Google Ads and experience editing PPC campaigns.
  • Ability to manage invoices and track expenses for paid media campaigns.
