Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the brewery complies with all global technical governance requirements
  • Control and ensure implementation of local and franchise brewing manual content
  • Regulate concession and permit systems• Enforce adherence to standards governed through the PTS (Process Product Technical Specifications)
  • Audit of plants against standard audit template
  • Identify non compliance and opportunities
  • Give specific recommendations to the brewing manager and plant manager regarding action required
  • Feedback to Zone Brewing Manager and highlight areas of concern.
  • Coordinate process changes
  • Coordinate quality improvements
  • Coordinate Global Brands brewing
  • Coordinate project implementation in the Brewing department
  • Identification of out of control situations or trends from quality results and process monitoring
  • Work with Brewing manager to resolve the problems using VPO tools and practices
  • Ensure that appropriate process monitoring and control systems are in place
  • VPO driven MCRS must allow for adequate identification of brewing concerns
  • Monitor all aspects of raw materials
  • Ensure deep understanding of VPO standards

Minimum requirements:

  • BSc Degree or equivalent in Biological Sciences, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering,
  • 2 years experience as Brewing Area manager in Brewhouse, Cellars and/or Filtration
  • At least 2 years production experience
