Driver – Platreef needed at Epiroc

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Delivery / collection of goods
• Counter collections
• Housekeeping
• Safety
• Deliver goods to customers
• Obtain the necessary signed and stamped POD’s on delivery to customers
• Collect goods from suppliers and customers
• Check vehicle before taking on a trip for roadworthy and maintenance
• Report any defect on the vehicle
• Assist as and when required with all aspects of general site duties such as:
• Cross check with customer collecting
• The receiving of goods from the various suppliers i.e. offloading of containers and the opening and unpacking of parcels received
• Verifying the items received against the relevant documents to be correct in quantity and part number
• Check items received and the general condition of the packaging to be free from any defects.  Report any such defect
• All safety and housekeeping aspects on site.

Competences, Skills and Experience:

• Valid driver’s license
• A good knowledge and understanding of Epiroc products
• Good communication skills
• Good customer relations
• Interpersonal skills to work as part of the site team
• Understanding of flow of goods

Educational Qualifications

• Grade 12
