Girls Junior Prep Sports Coordinator needed at ST Peters Preparatory Schools

Duties (not an exhaustive list):

• Responsible for all Grade 0 – 2 Physical Education lessons
• Responsible for the planning and running of all JP Sports demonstrations and sporting events
• Host coffee mornings and parent meetings relating to sport in the JP
• Assisting with the Senior Prep sports programme – coaching and officiating (weekdays and weekends)
• Building the curriculum taking developmental phases into account
• Engage and inspire girls, encouraging a love of physical activity and sportsmanship
• Select, train and monitor coaches
• Coach and umpire as appropriate

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Tertiary qualification
• SACE registered
• 3 years of physical education teaching experience working with children aged 5 – 8
• Experience in coaching and officiating several different sporting codes
• Accredited swimming qualification (LTS)
• Must be a proficient swimmer
• Junior Prep teaching experience would be advantageous
• Own transport would be advantageous
