Teacher Foundation Phase IsiZulu needed at ADvTECH

Job Description:

• We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Foundation Phase IsiZulu Teacher to join our team at Pinnacle College Founders Hill.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in IsiZulu and a deep understanding of the foundation phase curriculum.
• The teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment for young learners.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the foundation phase curriculum and incorporate IsiZulu language and culture
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and school administration
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Stay updated on best practices in language teaching and incorporate new techniques in the classroom

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Qualified teacher status (PGCE or equivalent)
• SACE
• Fluency in IsiZulu and a strong understanding of its grammar and syntax
• Experience teaching IsiZulu in a foundation phase setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
• Passion for education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment for students
