Teacher- Computer Applications Technology FET needed at ADvTECH

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced Computer Applications Technology teacher to join our team at pinnacle College Founders Hill. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer applications technology and a passion for teaching students the necessary skills to succeed in the digital age.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Computer Applications Technology curriculum
• Teach students how to use various software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and graphic design programs
• Assess student progress and provide feedback on their work
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects that incorporate computer applications technology skills
• Stay informed about current trends and developments in computer applications technology
• Provide extra help and support to students who are struggling with the material
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns that may arise

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Teaching certification or licensure in Computer Applications Technology
• Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting preferred
• Familiarity with various computer applications technology software programs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
