Suitable candidate must have the following work experience:
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a mining environment.
Your successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Read blueprints to determine the location, position, and dimensions of mechanical structures.
- Lay out prefabricated parts of larger structures before assembling them.
- Assemble structures, often using robotic or automatic welders.
- Replace or repair broken valves, pipes or joints using hand and power tools, gas, torches, and welding equipment.
