Education:
- An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: public health, health policy and/or management, socio-medical, health education, epidemiology, pediatric health, family health, health research, or another relevant technical field.
Experience:
- A minimum of five years of relevant professional work experience is required in public health planning and management, maternal and neonatal health care, or health emergency/humanitarian preparedness in South Africa.
Skills:
- Preference will be given to candidates having demonstrated knowledge of and professional experience in at last two of these areas: PHC, community health system strengthening, health financing, and advocacy.
Desirables:
- Relevant experience in a UN system agency is considered an asset.
Language:
- Fluency in English, both strong verbal and written skills, are essential.
