Job Description

• To assist the Privacy Lead with managing and implementing Standard Bank South Africa’s global privacy strategy. Generally, required to support the Deputy Information Officer to discharge his responsibilities relating to data privacy and protection as required by applicable regulatory requirements (“laws”) and to assist entities to meet their risk obligations by providing and defining global privacy advice and guidance, collating the privacy reporting and defining oversight, developing and embedding the privacy culture, awareness and training, Management of data privacy risk management and conducting privacy monitoring.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Risk Management or Computer Science

Experience Required:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in privacy, information risk management
• 3-4 years’ experience in Information security or a compliance function or Knowledge of the financial industry will be an advantage
