Qualifications, Knowledge and abilities 

• Minimum: Grade 10 or N3 
• Advantageous: Consumer Studies at school 
• Only unemployed out of school youth based in Mangaung 
• Youth with a disability that is suitable for these Key Performance Areas 

 
The candidate will be employed for the purpose of being trained and gaining work experience in an entry level position. The candidate is therefore responsible for the following Performance Areas 

• Provide refreshment for visitors and events 
• Layout cutlery and crockery and food in a hygienic manner 
• Clean Museum heritage objects and help with stock counts 
• Clean museum and storage areas according to curatorial standards. 
• Clean museum objects such as furniture, using cleansers, solvents, soap solutions, and polishes. 
• Cleaning of offices, bathrooms and kitchens that include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and dusting. 
• Provide support and assistance with general administration, exhibitions, projects and events, educational workshops and activities. This will include after hour events.
