Key Outputs: 

The successful candidate will report to the Manager: QoS Measurement and their responsibilities will include: 

• Quality of service monitoring. 
• Coverage map analysis. 
• Resolving GSM and WCDM inference. 
• Managing cross-border co-ordinations QoS monitoring. 
• Providing technical support to other ICASA business units. 
• Assisting other business units with the enforcement of the ECA and regulations. 
• Effective management of stakeholders and dissemination of information. 
• Participating in national and international forums. 
• Supporting technical and/or software vendors.

 Qualifications and Experience: 

• A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification in ICT (NQF Level 7) 
• 4 Years relevant working experience in Telecommunications environment 
• 3 Years of management experience would be an added advantage 
• Mobile networks drive testing benchmarking experience would be an added advantage.
