Role and Responsibilities:

•  In terms of the ICASA Act and the ECA, the CCC is vested with certain powers to, amongst others, investigate, hear if appropriate and make findings, on the complaints it receives or on allegations of non-compliance with the applicable Acts. The detailed function is set out in section 17B of the ICASA Act.

Required qualifications: 

• Applicants must be in possession of an appropriate Honours or Master’s degree qualification in Economics, Commerce or Engineering.  

Required Experience: 

• Applicants must have 5 years’ experience in electronic communications networks services/ postal services/ broadcasting services/ economics/ commerce/ spectrum management. Financial or economic modelling, accounting principles and/or costing experience will receive preference.
