- The Multi-Skilled Motor, Contents & All Risk Investigator at Pineapple Tech PTY LTD will focus on investigating Motor, Contents & All Risk claims, collaborating with experts, and making informed decisions on claims approvals. The position emphasizes on in person meeting with clients, having good communication skills and ensuring that the matter is thoroughly validated to ensure that all policy terms and conditions have been met.
- As a multiskilled investigator you will be at the forefront of investigating Vehicle Accidents, Contents and All Risk claims. Utilizing advanced tools and technologies. Your efforts will significantly contribute to ensuring that our clients receive the compensation they deserve.
KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Field Investigation and Documentation:
- Motor, Contents and all risk full Investigation.
- Drafting of supporting documentation and understanding the Function of the documentation ex. Reasonable request etc.
- Photographing and measuring accident scenes. Contents inventories and validations.
Claims Assessment and Decision-Making:
- Evaluate claims to ensure they align with company policies and underwriting guidelines.
- Make informed recommendations regarding claims approval or denial based on the validation findings.
- Document investigation processes and findings clearly and concisely for internal review.
Risk and Compliance Oversight:
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations regarding claims assessments.
- Identify potential fraud or discrepancies in claims submissions and escalate as necessary.
Operational Efficiency:
- Work closely with Claims Agents and team members to streamline the claims assessment process.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in claims investigation and assessment.
Reporting and Feedback:
- Provide regular updates to the Claims Investigations Manager on claims assessment metrics, including findings.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing cases and share insights on claims processing improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
Educational Background & Qualifications:
Education:
- Completed Course, Diploma or Degree in Forensic and Investigation or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of Multi-Skilled on-the-road Investigation experience
- within the short-term insurance industry. Prior experience in fraud detection, or a related investigative role in the short term insurance industry is highly desirable.

- Strong analytical strategic problem-solving skills, and the ability to make sound/informed decisions based on detailed data analysis and technological tools.

- Communication & Collaborative Skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate investigation findings both orally and in writing to various stakeholders.
