Description

• Conduct research in the field for long and extensive hours.
• Plan and co-ordinate research with single or multi-disciplinary team.
• Data capturing, analysis, interpretations and recommendations.
• Analytical problem solving
• Disseminate technology through peer-reviewed scientific articles 
• Regularly provide feedback (verbal/written) on work activities to supervisor.
• Comply with health and safety; and risk procedures.

Requirements

• MSc Degree in Agriculture with specialisation in Crop Science, Agronomy or closely related discipline.
• Candidate must be a registered PhD student in the 2025 academic year.
• Proof off acceptance for this degree must accompany application for this position.
• Good presentation skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Cum laude (distinction) or at least 70% achievement in Master’s degree.
• Evidence of peer reviewed scientific publication.
• Experience in conducting research on tea plants or medicinal plants will be an added advantage.
• Ability to do physical work.
• Great learning capability.
• A valid driver’s license.
