Key performance areas: 

• Safety and security: Ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff and occupants, including running safety inspections and testing fire alarms and electrical systems 
• Maintenance: Planning maintenance work, including reactive maintenance like fixing broken equipment, painting, and fastening loose bolts 
• Operations: Managing day-to-day operations, including landscaping, fields cleaning services, and responding to emergency calls 

Academic qualifications: 

• Post matric qualifications 
• Sport management or sport related will be an added advantage. 

 Minimum Requirements: 

• A minimum of 2 years’(or more) experience as a football facilities care taker 
• Experience of managing university football facilities will be an advantage 
• Proficiency in English 
• Computer Literacy 
• Basic first aid qualification 
• Code 8 or 10 Driver’s license 
• No criminal record.
