The Presidency Republic of South Africa

The Presidency is mandated to ensure that the President can execute his constitutional responsibilities in leading and galvanising government and society to implementpresidency the electoral mandate. Over the medium term, the department planned to continue providing support to the President and Deputy President in the execution of their responsibilities, as outlined in Chapter 5 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa of 1996. The department also planned to focus on enhancing leadership and partnerships through stakeholder engagements to promote the country’s social transformation agenda, facilitating economic growth and job creation, and operationalising the e‐Cabinet system.
