  • We are seeking an experienced and versatile Graphic Designer to join our creative team to produce visually impactful designs for our social and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, branding, and visual storytelling, with expertise across various design disciplines, including visual design, branding, typography, print, digital, and UI/UX. The Graphic Designer will create engaging designs that effectively communicate our brand’s message and values.

Responsibilities

Graphic Design

  • Develop high-quality graphics, layouts, and templates for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and print materials.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to the company’s brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across platforms.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to conceptualise designs that align with campaign objectives and storytelling strategies.
  • Create designs for packaging, promotional merchandise, and digital products where required.
  • Ensure appropriate use of typography and layouts for diverse formats, including brochures, presentations, and reports.
  • Develop simple animations or motion graphics to enhance social media and online campaigns.

Social Media and Online Marketing

  • Design optimised content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), ensuring it aligns with platform specifications and audience preferences.
  • Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals that support campaign narratives.
  • Design digital ads and banners for online campaigns, ensuring they meet performance metrics and aesthetic requirements.
  • Collaborate with the content and strategy teams to ensure designs support the overall marketing and business objectives.

Creative Direction

  • Translate creative briefs into innovative design concepts.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the brand’s visual identity by proposing modern, fresh ideas that resonate with target audiences.
  • Stay updated with design and digital marketing trends to bring innovative ideas to campaigns.

Collaboration and Feedback

  • Work closely with videographers, photographers, copywriters, and digital marketers to produce cohesive multimedia content.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and finalise designs efficiently.
  • Organise and maintain a digital library of design assets, templates, and completed projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Certification in graphic design and digital media

Minimum experience and skills required

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong focus on digital and online content creation.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is advantageous.
  • Portfolio showcasing design expertise, particularly in social media, online marketing, and branding.
  • Experience with UI/UX design principles.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for basic web design projects.
  • Understanding of performance metrics and analytics for design optimisation.
  • Knowledge of social media advertising formats and tools.
  • Flexible working hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for deadlines or events
  • On-location work for photoshoots or event branding setup if needed
