Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement strategies drive sign ups and retention for Takealot’s Subscription offering; including marketing the scheme across channels and platforms.
- Own and manage the P&L of the vertical to drive customer satisfaction; frequency and manage unit economics.
- Oversee operational execution to deliver results and meet business objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams including Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, Retail, Finance, Product and Engineering.
- Own the evolution of the program; from technology to benefits.
- Evaluate, launch and manage new partnerships as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in subscription to ensure strategy remains cutting-edge.

Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is advantageous.
- 7 – 10 years commercial experience including 2 – 3 years experience in managing Loyalty Programmes or Subscriptions
- Experience presenting to senior managers and the C-suite
- Experience in the tech sector / building a product from the ground up – Advantageous
