About the job

• As a SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of ABAP projects across various SAP systems. This includes managing the design, development, and implementation of these projects. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, translating them into technical specifications and code. Your role includes writing, reviewing, and revising ABAP code, conducting rigorous testing, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Additionally, you will troubleshoot production issues, recommend process improvements, and provide technical guidance to team members. You’ll also ensure the maintenance of existing code and stay current with SAP advancements to deliver high-quality solutions. Your work will involve close collaboration with functional owners, architects, and other personnel to develop adaptable systems that meet evolving business needs, all while adhering to programming and documentation standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or software engineering
• 5 years of prior experience in the field of ABAP programming
• In depth knowledge of SAP functional modules and other SAP systems/products
• Prior experience in object-oriented programming, ABAP lists, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, enhancement framework
• Knowledge of integrating other systems to SAP (IDoc/SFTP/Web services, etc).

Skills:

• Prior experience developing applications with UI5/Fiori, Javascript
• Prior experience integrating applications using EDI/IDOC’s
• rior experience developing SAPscript/Smartforms/Adobe Forms
