Job Description:

Your responsibility will include but is not limited to: 

  • Manage the entire payroll process in SAGE300, ensuring accurate entry of employee information, salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and handling terminations and promotions.
  • Reconcile the monthly payroll summary, ensuring accuracy and submission to the Financial Manager before the 10th of each month.
  • Process payroll on time and upload payroll data into the bank for approval.
  • Address any payroll-related concerns raised by employees.
  • Handle UIF applications for employees and assist with salary sheet preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and oversee pension fund management.
  • Manage tax filings, including EMP201 and Easyfile.
  • Submit COIDA returns and ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data.
  • Contribute to the annual audit process, ensuring payroll records align with SAGE300 and Pastel Evolution.

Skills & Experience: 

  • Sage 300 (Non-Negotiable)
  • Strong MS Excel Skills 
  • Understanding of HR policies and Employment Law

Qualification:

  • 3 years of experience in a similar or relevant role
  • Tertiary qualification
