Purpose of role 

  • You’ll be responsible for ensuring all administrative duties within the Customer Service Department are completed in a timely accurate manner. You’ll also provide cover for the international customer service team as required.

Duties & responsibilities 

  • Process first line support calls & emails, through guided troubleshooting, answering frequently asked support questions about client’s products & services.
  • Department admin tasks: 
  • Sending quotes
  • Completing job sheets and raising sales orders.
  • Supporting the Field Sales Team in admin tasks when necessary.
  • When required, assisting the international customer service team in order processing and General Administration.

Skills & Experience – essential 

  • Experience in a remote customer services role, with a track record of providing superb support, preferably in a technical environment although no technical skills required
  • Excellent telephone manner and comfortable dealing with customers from different backgrounds
  • Fluent in both English, both written and spoken
  • Experience working on multiple systems
  • Good keyboard/typing skills including use of MS Word, Excel, Oulook
  • Able to work under pressure & juggle multiple tasks accurately and effectively
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Proactive in self-development & training
  • Passionate, customer focussed with a high level of integrity
  • Empathy and ability to diffuse difficult situations
  • Adaptable to different work streams and service-related activities

Skills & Experience – desirable

  • Experience working with an international client base (preferably UK)
