Objectives of Role
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of cutting-edge application solutions, including Service Desk, HR systems, and Finance systems based on the strategic requirements of system owners and Group IT.
- Manage vendor relationships with third-party service providers to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Oversee the design, enablement, and delivery of core applications, ensuring seamless integration between different systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on procurement, innovation, development, change management, and maintenance of Information Systems architecture.
- Provide user administration support through our service desk, and perform system configuration and maintenance tasks to ensure efficient availability of systems.
- Manage core and ancillary license agreements to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Generate detailed reports and visualizations using tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
- Establish ITIL systems and processes to support our shared services model, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and contribute to strategic Information System projects, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Implement data governance principles and manage security, compliance, cybersecurity, incident management, and General IT Contrrol audit compliance relating to application systems.
- Optimize application performance and provide training and communication to end-users.
- All employees in Shared Services are individually and collectively responsible for customer excellence and will be measured in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements.
Experience and Qualifications
Qualification and technical skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in application management, preferably with ERP. Payroll and Finance System experience.
- 3- 5 years in a similar role.
- ITIL Certification.
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
