REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12. Computer literacy Certificate.
- Valid Driver’s License (added advantage). Computer literacy (MS Word, excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
- Secretarial and administration skills. Strong work ethic.
- Adaptability, communication, assertiveness/leadership skills, conflict and stress management, negotiation skills, problem solving skills, office/diary management skills, strong administrative skills, writing and typing skills, attention to detail, strong understanding of the Traffic section.
- 02 to 03 years relevant experience in administration within Local Government Authority or similar pressurized environment.
DUTIES
- Answering and screening all calls to the Traffic Chief and Chief Superintendent.
- Typing of all necessary documentation.
- Filing of admin work for Traffic Services to ensure that accurate archiving is sustained.Organising of functions (formal or informal).
- To ensure that the section administrative functions are in place for future reference and general smooth operation of the section.
- Organising Chief Traffic and Chief Superintendent’s Diaries.
- Monthly report writing.
- Perform any other related ad hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time
