CORE ACTIVITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Facilitate employee training and onboarding
- Test and review created training materials
- Create schedules to assess training needs (Training needs analysing – Basecamp and Field)
- Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership on training content and direction
- Conceptualise and design training materials based on data and research that align to relevant OC and WW Dash environments
- Test and review created materials
- Communicate training needs and online resources to your line manager
- Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials together with the Training Specialist
- Compile training venue vendor database with cost-effective venue to be used when free venues are not accessible
- Maintain and database of all training materials
- Coordinate and monitor course enrollment, schedules, costs, and equipment relating to training logistics
- Evaluate employee performance and the outcome of training sessions – ensuring recall and laying good practical examples of training content
- Ensure that the organisation’s resources are efficiently utilised
- Communicate the correct information and handle any questions from trainees
- Schedule training sessions in line with workplace downtime to minimise disruption to normal working
- Plan a training calendar and ensure all stakeholders are notified timeously
- Track and compile collected training data
- Maintaining an up-to-date and accurate record of trainee progress and achievements
- Ensure capturing of all training stats on the master data sheet
- Ensure compilation of final training attendance lists at the end of the training
- Keep accurate records of all logistical training expenditure
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Take ownership of driving your career development (skills and knowledge)
- Plan and priorities, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands to achieve agreed deliverables
- Communicate effectively, maintain relationships
- Follow any lawful and reasonable instruction from your line manager
- Act as part of the Recruitment and Training team by assisting other members of the team to achieve common goals
- Consistently live and be an example of the Company’s values
- Timely reporting of all instances of suspected or proven fraud via the appropriate reporting channel
- Adherence to the company policies and associated company policies and procedures
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Skills Development Facilitator qualification or equivalent certification
- Certification from talent and training associations an advantage
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software
- Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms
- Valid Drivers License
- Own reliable vehicle
