Qualifications / Certifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering (not National Diploma)

Experience:

  • At least 1 year’s relevant experience
  • SAP experience (highly advantageous)
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis software
  • Knowledge of manufacturing / supply chain processes, including machining, assembly, and material handling.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • As a Graduate Industrial Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and managing all aspects of the supply chain process. Your specialized skills in logistics and industrial engineering will help create efficient supply chain designs and strategies. Here are your primary responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Analyse and interpret data related to supply chain functions.
  • Process Improvement: Design or enhance supply chain processes to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Technology Implementation: Implement & integrate new technologies and software for better supply chain management.
  • Reporting: Create and maintain reports on supply chain activities and performance metrics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure optimal supply chain operations.
  • Problem Solving: Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain process and develop solutions to eliminate them.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Demand Forecasting: Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstock and shortages.
  • Training: Train supply chain staff and stakeholders on new procedures and systems.
  • Risk Management: Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply during emergencies.
