KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating purchase requisition, purchase order and service entry sheets
  • Communicating with various departments to ensure purchase orders are approved timeously
  • Managing open purchase requisitions and purchase orders
  • Invoice submission to the Financial Shared Service Centre (FSSC) for processing
  • Perform relevant checks on invoices to ensure validity
  • Managing the process for new vendor creation; confirm banking details, Ethixbase due diligence checks and other relevant checks

General accounting duties:

  • Outstanding bank confirmation letters
  • Outstanding invoices
  • Outstanding payments
  • PO related problems

Administrative duties:

  • Fleet applications on Fleet360 portal.
  • Credit card applications on STD bank portal.
  • Creating vendors on STD bank portal, before submitting new vendor invoices for processing.
  • Back up to each other and Manager

Requirements

 PRE-REQUISITES

  • Matric
  • 4-5 years relevant experience
  • High volume in an Accounts Payable environment
  • Relevant basic accounting knowledge
