Job Description

  • A Mining house based in the Gauteng region is looking for an experienced Section Surveyor

Duties:

  • Responsible for ensuring precision and compliance in all surveying activities across the operation.

Qualifications / Requirements: 

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • National Diploma or Degree in Mining Survey or Mineral Resource Management or related discipline
  • Mine Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency (South Africa)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Mine surveying with at least 3 years in a Senior Surveying position
  • Proficiency in CAD Software (i.e. Mine Cad, MineRP CAD, Autodesk, Microstation)
  • Experience in Point Cloud processing Software (i.e., Cyclone 3DR, Infinity, Trimble Realworks, Leica Infinity etc)
  • Professional membership with SAGC and/or IMSSA
