What will you do?
This role will report to the Regional Support Manager
- This is a management position overseeing a team of Support Staff including the HighPerformance Centre to provide administrative support, controls and processes that will enable the effective/compliant and speedy issuing of new business; and undertake initiatives that will assist in driving sales for both the Choice and Tied businesses.
Output/Core Tasks:

- Management and control of key sales support related processes
- Input into Financial Budgets
- Risk Management
- Office Management
- Technology and after sales service enablement
- Relationship Management
- People and resource management
- Management of the support team on San IX (tech enablement)
- Management of specialist support roles (Retention, Medical, Leads, Policy servicing)
What will make you successful in this role?
Qualification and Experience
- Grade 12
- Diploma/Degree in Management will be a strong recommendation
- 2 years managerial experience
- 2-4 years proven experience in office administration/processing environment. Preference of having worked within a sales distribution environment
Knowledge and Skills
To be successful you will need to demonstrate good experience in:
- Distribution and sales business (preferably within Sanlam)
- Basic Sanlam product knowledge
- Budgeting, expense management
- Knowledge of management practises and processes, knowledge of HR practices and performance management principles
- Legislative compliance and risk management of a financial services/sales environment
- Knowledge of Sanlam’s support services and administration processes (i.e.: New Business)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable motor vehicle
