Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within assigned pure-player accounts.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute account-specific sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets. This includes forecasting, promotional planning, and inventory management.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate trading terms, contracts, and joint business plans (JBPs) with pure-player partners, ensuring alignment with L’Oréal’s overall business objectives.
  • E-commerce Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective digital marketing strategies tailored to each pure-player platform. This may include search engine optimization (SEO), paid advertising, social media marketing, and influencer collaborations.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales growth, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and return on ad spend (ROAS). Regularly report on performance to management and identify areas for improvement.
  • New Business Development: Define and implement Go to Market strategy with cross functional teams (marketing, supply chain, IT, sales,…) Identify and explore opportunities to expand L’Oréal’s presence on new and emerging pure-player platforms.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with internal cross-functional teams (supply chain, marketing, finance, etc.) to ensure smooth operations and efficient execution of sales strategies.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in e-commerce, digital marketing, and competitor activities within the pure-player landscape.

Desired Skills 

  • Proven experience, track record of success in e-commerce sales, preferably within the beauty or FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of the pure-player e-commerce landscape and digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience managing key accounts and developing strong relationships with clients.
  • Experience overseeing and managing onsite media placements and media buying.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and analytics tools is a plus. 
  • Experience with specific pure-player platforms (e.g., Amazon Vendor Central, Supplier portal)
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques (e.g., Google Ads, Sponsored Ads, Onsite Display, SEO and SEA).
  • Strong data analytics and presentation skills. Able to tell a story with data.
  • Experience with forecasting and inventory management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management skills.
