Requirements: 

• Matric certificate plus an appropriate M+3 Qualification (National diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree) having majored in English First Language or First Additional Language. Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) SACE registration.
• Teaching experience in English is key. Assessor/Moderator qualification will be an added advantage, Knowledge of Legislation governing the sector.

Duties: 

• The incumbent will be responsible for teaching L2 – L4 English subject. Conducting assessments and marking of tasks. Preparation of files (POA; POE and Subject file).
• Organize relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject, learning area of the learners are conducted in a proper manner. Assess and record the attainment of learners. Assist with the issuing and retrieval of textbooks and management of equipment etc.
• Organize experiential training for students. Report and account for student performance in their programmes.
• Record and report on absenteeism and perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning.
