Job Description

• As a Settlements Officer you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of settlements for trades executed by the Structured Solutions Desk. This includes managing and monitoring the entire trade settlement lifecycle, ensuring all transactions settle within the specified deadlines, and ensuring that all controls, market regulations and processes are adhered to.

Experience Required

• Settlements: Investment Banking Operations
• Years of Experience: 2-3 years
• Practical, hands-on experience in general settlements is required, alongside intermediate knowledge of financial markets. Proficiency in JSE and Strate rules, regulations, and directives is essential. Candidates should have experience within a stockbroker or banking environment, focusing on basic settlements and back-office operations. Knowledge of relevant settlement platforms, Microsoft packages and systems is advantageous.
