Description

• Ensure field efficiency operation of the effluent treatment plant, evaporator, crystalliser plant, reverse osmosis plant and boiler
• Responsible for sample taking and deliver to laboratory
• Monitor equipment and take readings (temperature, flow and pressure)
• Responsible for the operation, monitoring of the evaporator and crystalliser 
• Visual inspection on equipment for vibrations, noise, leaks, heat 
• Responsible for the operation, monitoring of the crystalliser process
• Conduct planned daily equipment inspections
• Record readings flow, temperature, pressure and totalises every 24 hours
• Report defects and deviations to Process Controller
• Responsible for boiler blow downs and visual inspections
• Actively minimise usage of production consumables
• Apply identification, inspection, use, maintain & care for engineering hand tools.
• Responsible for housekeeping on shift basis

Requirements

• Be in possession of Matric/N3 certificate with Maths & Science
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Be able to work in a team
• Should be an independent individual and be pro-active
• Should be willing to work shifts and overtime
• Must be physically fit
