Responsibilities:
- Ensure that planned production targets are achieved according to specifications.
- Monitor production efficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Plan and oversee routine maintenance for optimal effectiveness.
- Ensure the laboratory provides an effective quality control service to production.
- Ensure that production and safety standards comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Manage the performance of subordinates and production teams effectively.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and Quality Management Systems.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 with a diploma pass.
- Diploma in Production Management.
- At least 5 years of practical experience in an industrial process plant.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading a team of operators and/or laborers.
- At least 2 years’ experience in safety management and quality control systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and isiZulu.
