Key Requirements

  • At least an appropriate Honours Degree or Equivalent in Labour Studies or Social Sciences or Employment Laws.
  • 8 years’ experience within the labour market as role player with at least 3 years at Middle Management level. Experience as a practising commissioner.

Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of Labour Law
  • Knowledge of CCMA policies, processes, systems, operations and procedures
  • Knowledge of social partners – government and labour policies – in relation to the CCMA
  • Knowledge of computer literacy and the CCMA systems
  • Knowledge of Strategy, Policy and Procedure Formulation
  • Knowledge of Coaching and Mentoring Approaches
  • Knowledge of Project Management
  • Knowledge of research and research methodologies
