KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching and Learning

• Teaching assigned classes according to the NWU teaching and learning strategies.

Research

• Research activities to be discussed with research programleader and director.

Community engagement

• Actively contribute to community engagement projects as part of the School of Accounting Sciences.

Minimum requirements

• An MCom degree (NQF Level 9) in Accountancy or an MBA.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in teaching accounting.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the field as an accountant is desirable.
• Accreditation with SAIPA/ACCA or SAICA as an AGA(SA).
