Senior Test Analyst needed at Kuba

Your Mission:

• As a Senior Test Analyst, you will play a critical role in our software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch software products.

Your Challenges:

• Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
• Participate in sprint planning and adherence to Agile methodologies.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
• Mentor and support junior team members in their testing efforts.
• Engage with clients to understand their testing needs and ensure product alignment.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on software applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements and ensure high-quality software releases.
• Ensure that testing processes align with industry standards and best practices, including ISTQB methodologies.
• Participate in test automation initiatives where applicable.
• Conduct performance and security testing where required.
• Provide detailed test reports and communicate test results effectively to stakeholders.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of testing strategies and processes.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Test Analyst in software QA.
• Proven experience in manual testing, defect tracking, and using testing tools.
• In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical concepts.
• ISTQB Certification (Foundation Level or higher).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Test Analyst or Software Tester.
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools (JIRA, Cucumber studio, Testmo).
• Ability to analyze requirements and design test cases accordingly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with SQL and databases.
• Experience in Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) and payment solutions.
• Exposure to payment gateways, EMV, or transport-related systems.
• Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
• Experience with test automation tools (Postman for API testing).

Qualifications:

• A relevant degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• ISTQB Certification is mandatory.
• Additional certifications in software testing or automation will be an advantage.
