Who are we The Automobile Association of South Africa (AA) is a non-profit company offering motoring and travel services to individuals and corporate clients. Since pioneering roadside assistance in South Africa in 1930, the AA has expanded its range of services to include technical investigations, read moremotor-related legal advice and roadworthy tests, as well as travel services and advice. The AA is proud of its role as the champion of the South African motorist and tackles motoring issues of national and macro-economic importance on their behalf, including eTolls and improving the safety of children in cars. Looking to the future, the AA strives to be South Africa’s most trusted mobility partner, providing total solutions for individuals and corporates, and known for providing motorists with safe, reliable roadside assistance. AA Fleetcare The AA’s products and services are available to corporate clients in the passenger and commercial manufacturing sector, financial and insurance services, loyalty programmes and car rental markets, as well as the small-to-medium enterprise sector. Where are we? The AA’s head office in Barbeque Downs, Johannesburg, houses the national emergency call centre, marketing and sales services, as well as Membership and corporate sales, and customer administration. Looking after our most important asset: our staff The AA knows that its most valuable asset is its staff and that company growth happens as a result of individual growth. The AA’s people development programme is designed to improve each staff member’s competencies through job profiling, assessment and training. In addition to the people development programme, the AA’s employee wellness programme offers counselling and medical screenings as well as financial education and debt review.
