• Preparation of surfaces for spray painting.
• Masking off non repaired areas.
• Application of primers to specific ratios.
• Application of stopper fine and spot putty.
• Colour reproduction.
• Spray painting of vehicles.
• Rubberizing of vehicles.
• Personnel development (Training of Artisan Assistants)
• Supervising of artisan assistants.
• Housekeeping and safety.
• Signwriting on vehicles.
• Responsible for completion of job cards and time sheets.
• Ordering of paint and other material and advising the foreman.
• Inspecting of vehicles before despatch.
• Assisting with quotations.
• Spray-painting of all types of vehicles

Essential Requirements:

• Trade Tested Artisan (Automotive Spray Painter)
• Valid motor vehicle driving license (Code EC).
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• 3 years relevant post trade test experience.
