KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide comprehensive IT support for undergraduate and postgraduate PC laboratories in SCSIS.
• Provide comprehensive IT support for research computers in SCSIS.
• Provide comprehensive IT support and innovation for staff of SCSIS.

Minimum requirements

• A bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7) in Computer Science and Information Systems/ IT.
• A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in system and network administration.

RECOMMENDATIONS / ADDED ADVANTAGES:

• A and N certificates
• Membership of Professional IT/CS/IS societies.
• Work experience in NWU IT support.
• Work experience in enterprise level IT.
